The Strategy & Planning Subcommittee helps the Club keep its future direction clear, practical and aligned with the wider goals of NZ Bridge.
The subcommittee supports the Committee by reviewing the Club’s strategic plan, monitoring progress against agreed priorities, and helping turn long-term goals into practical annual actions.
Its work focuses on the Club’s key strategic areas: good Club administration, member attraction and member retention. This includes matters such as committee succession, member engagement, learner conversion, communication, session participation, clubroom standards and the overall member experience.
The subcommittee does not make decisions on behalf of the Committee. Its role is to gather information, review progress, identify risks and opportunities, and make clear recommendations.
The aim is to help Orewa Bridge Club remain well-governed, welcoming, sustainable and responsive to the needs of current and future members.
