Bridge is more fun than you think!

Duplicate bridge is a fun and friendly way to play contract bridge where everyone gets the chance to play the same hands.

In a regular card game, one pair might get lucky with strong cards while another pair gets a much harder deal. Duplicate bridge reduces that luck factor. The same hands are played at different tables, so your result is compared with other players who held the same cards. This means the focus is on how you bid, how you play, and how well you work with your partner.

That might sound competitive, but duplicate bridge is also very social and welcoming. You play with a partner, meet other players, move around he room during the session, and enjoy the challenge of each new hand.

A typical duplicate bridge session uses special card holders called boards. These keep each deal intact so it can be played again by other pairs. Afte each round, players move to a new table and play a new set of boards. At the end, the scores are compared across all the tables.

One of the great things about duplicate bridge is that every hand has something to teach. You do not need perfect cards to do well. Sometimes the most satisfying results come from making the best of a difficult hand, finding the right contract, or taking one extra trick.
Duplicate bridge is a wonderful game for people who enjoy thinking, learning, and meeting others. It keeps your mind active, encourages teamwork, and offers endless variety. No two sessions are ever quite the same.
