Bridge is one of the world’s great card games: social, stimulating and endlessly enjoyable. Whether you are completely new to bridge or returning after time away, our beginner lessons will help you learn the game in a friendly and supportive setting.
Orewa Bridge Club is a welcoming club community where people come together to enjoy competitive bridge in a relaxed social environment. Our lessons are designed to make beginners feel comfortable, with clear explanations and plenty of opportunity to practise.
The course fee is NZ$100, but you do not need to commit straight away. You are welcome to attend the first lessons and decide by week 3 whether you would like to continue.

Do I need a partner?
No, beginners are welcome to come on their own.

No, the lessons are suitable for complete beginners.
Can I try before paying?
Yes. There is no commitment until week 3, so you can come along and see whether bridge is for you before deciding to continue.
Is bridge difficult to learn?
Bridge has plenty of depth, but the basics are introduced step by step in a friendly class setting.
